Everything your family would need to know, in one beautiful binder. 82 pages. Print it or type it.

If something happened to you tomorrow, would your family know who to call, which bills to pay, or where the important papers are?

For Keeps is the calm, beautifully designed binder that answers all of it, before anyone has to ask.

What's inside

  • Emergency Snapshot: the one page that matters most in the first hour.
  • The Playbook: Day One, Day 30 and Day 365 checklists, written for the people you love, so nobody has to figure it out alone.
  • Tabbed sections: People, Home, Money, Insurance & Benefits, Health, Wishes, Kids & Pets, Digital Life, Documents and Letters.
  • Fraud protection: the steps that stop identity thieves who watch obituaries.
  • Letters: prompts and pages for the words they'll keep forever.
  • Extras: a tear-out Day One card, fridge and wallet cards, a fold-up pocket for certificates and receipts, keepsake story tags, and spine and tab labels.

Three editions in every download: Color, Ink Saver for home printers, and Fillable, with a typing field on every line, so you can fill it in on your laptop and print the finished book.

Designed to be kept: it prints on US Letter, is hole-punch friendly, and fits a 1.5" binder with 12-tab dividers.

For a keepsake finish: print the pages on 32 lb premium paper and the cover, Emergency Snapshot, Day One card and tab labels on 65–80 lb cardstock. It looks and feels like a bound book, and the pages still turn softly. Any office-supply print counter can do this in an afternoon.

What it is not: For Keeps never asks for passwords, PINs or account numbers. It records where things are, not the keys to them. It is a personal organizer, not legal, tax or financial advice, and it doesn't replace a will or other legal documents.

FAQ

How long does it take to fill in? Most people do a first pass in a weekend. The Emergency Snapshot takes about 15 minutes.

Can I fill it in on my computer? Yes. The Fillable edition works in Adobe Acrobat Reader, Mac Preview and most browsers. Save your copy somewhere private, then print one for the binder.

Can I print more than one copy? Yes, as many as your household needs.

Is it a good gift? Yes. Print it as a keepsake binder, or send the download and sit down together to fill in the first page.

Is it safe? Nothing is stored online by us, and the book tells you never to write a password in it. If you type it, keep the file off shared or work folders.

Instant digital download. No physical item will be shipped. See our refund policy for what happens if a file doesn't work.
